Audio Newb Question...

Post by kona1991 »

Right.. lets starts simply... iso connector??

can someone explain?

Also.. im looking to install some speakers in my parcel shelf, is this an acheivable job for a 'newb'?
finally.. i was wondering if there is something i can get that will allow me to easily detach the wiring so i can take the shelf out? im a mountain biker so my bikes often in my car.

cheers guys.

iso connector you dont need one if your fiting a aftermarket radio, fitting 6x9s in the parcel shelf is easy with some time and effort if you get all the templates in the exact place you want you speakers it is usually all good form there i would draw around the template drill a hole straight through on the line big enough to fit a jigsaw in and follow the lines, as soon as that is sorted you will need to drill very small hole for the screws make sure the holes are very straight else you speakers will look nooby lol like my first attempt
then drop you speaker in screw them down sorted oh usually you can pull the wire straight off if you want o remove the parcel shelf

erm its up to you tbh you can run theleft wire down the left side to the left speaker and same opposite so you dont get mixed up or make it simple and put them down one side, when i put mine down one side i got confused i had to put tape around one of the wires so i knew what was what.

just take you time theres never any rush lol and they will look amazing
