fan not coming on? or overheating?
I have a 1.4 16v engine and when in a bit of traffic the engine temperature pushes on 100 and if i dont notice it early enough towards the red.
I wasn't sure whether this was the fan not working or if this is common? also when in the traffic it drinks a lot of water too.
any suggestions welcome...
thanks

Unplug it.
24mm spanner (I think)
Undo it
Throw away
Put new one in
Plug it
Test
Job Done

Re: fan not coming on? or overheating?
and when ur gettin there
wack ur heaters on full blast ahah
should keep the temp down
mine "used" to go up to near 100 as the fans dont kick in till 98 i think
but when i put my heaters on it cooled back down to just above 90
