corsa sport air control value solenoid

alright folks recently bought to we corsa,one with bugger engine and one with buggered shell,so made one good. i have put a r reg sport engine into a v reg sport,every going fine,only problem is engine managent light is on,its saying its the air control value solenoid,the man wasnt to sure what this is,anyhelp or pictures would be great,as you will know there is not a lot off room at the back of these engines,cheers

Tech 2 software can identify this problem .. happens alot with engine conversions but should be okay if you are just using same engine in different shell !!!! mate .. i know its expensive but take it 2 vauxhall !!!!

its not so easy mate i life on the isle of arran,plus car not road legal,its just want to get the light off.so you think there might not even be a fault?

Well there may not be a fault!!!but maybe somthing needs doing with the ignition to tun it off...... if you have a tesco near you ask them to order total vauxhall magazine or subscribe to it monthly .. send a letter to them explaining ur problem and tyhey almost definetly will tell ya

think i have some lying about from my nova days anyhow.so just write to the magazine itself then?take it that will be printed in the magzine?do they not get hundreds of questions thou

i suppose they get quite a few but ...im almost certain they will print it ...... because id imagine that quite a few engine changes experience the same thing!!! go 4 it !!
