can anyone give me some information on what u have to do with the dvla when engine conversions are done????????

so what happens when mot time comes around and they see that the engine is different and what about getting tax

You need the engine number and a letter from a garage saying that they have check it and all is ok.

you dont need a letter from a garage saying that they have check it, its only when you put an engine of small cc than what was fitted at the factory as standad, you dont need one for fitting a larger cc engine, dvla only require a letter from the garage so you cant fiddle the tax nothing to do with your or any other road users safteyfennyLET wrote:You need the engine number and a letter from a garage saying that they have check it and all is ok.
