tax dilemma

Post by carlcooper »

Hey guys,

I am in a bit of a pickle lol, I have run out of tax and need to get some more but my log says 2l and my insurance says 1.2 lol. I did my insurance online and just typed in the numberplate and it came up as a 1.2l, I never knew my logbook said it was a 2litre lol ooops :o

What do you guys recommend me doing?

did u not notice u werent driving a 1.2?
considerable power difference....
i think you have to declare the change to the dvla.. then change insurance and then u could get it re-taxed...
Thats not a dent.... its an aerodynamic mod :P

I bought the car with the engine already in, I knew it was a 2l but never thought too much about the tax problem until the other day when it ran out lol
