Nice little motor mate, iv got a 98 1.2 16v, great little car. Erm when you see if obv check the oil cap for creamy liquid and the dip stick, Also rec up the car, check for any flat spots. These are easy to find, if you rev it, and it seems to hold back this means it requires a new air flow meter. If you know the reg, might be worth doing a quick check on the RAC website, to see if it has any history you should know about eg has it been involved in any crashes etc

Other than that mate, take it for a decent drive, check the steering feels right. if you can try drive over some speed bumps and listen out for any noises.

Let us know how you get on mate

If there's a small residue of cream-coloured liquid on the oil cap then this could simply be condensation as it's a cold time of the year.

Owning a corsa, the only things I can say, feel the bonnet when you get there, if it's hot, beware as they may have warmed up the engine so it starts easily before you got there.
Check the arches for any rust or corrosion.
Listen to it tick over and if possible test drive and go through a good range of all gears at various speeds or even if they drive and you sit in passenger.

Best of luck. 8)

Well i went to go look at it a couple of days ago. everything seemed okay.

was a cold day. engine was cold. started fine.

a bit of a rattle when the car started.. but i think that was because a square exhaust tip was put on, so it hit against the bumper.

Ill be getting that changed xD

Cannot wait for my 1st car :D

Nice, well you can fix any minor problems. Just as long as the engine isn't knocking, tapping or smoking.

They're great first cars. Have a good un
