basically i want a stick on (sticker on bonnet) number plate. Does anyone know if these are legal?? or what laws there are about it?
i want to make some additional cooling holes where the number plate recess is. and i dont want a square plate shoved to one side lol

i have now emailed the DVLA for information, so then i will have a definate answer and have it in black and white incase i do get pulled if i get them.

as long as a speed camera or the police's ANPR can see it it should be legal
will have to be same size and font and colour of a standard plate tho
i have seen cars with them on before theres a guy with an old ford probe down the bottom of my street he has had is as a sticker for years.
and i think the really old mazda mx5s used to come like that standard

Apparently they are no longer legal - check with an MOT tester if you are unsure.

According to a mate of mine, they are now deemed illegal.
