i was thinking about getting, this is an idea i have just discussed with my dad and he likes it, a fibreglass tailgate and bonnet for lighter purposes, already same colour as my car and will be very lovely to see. think how much a bonnet weighs, and how much a tailgate weighs, then imagine without that weight, redtop with a ton of weight to carry very very nice, help me make my decisions ppl, just dont want to slam bonnet and tailgate and it falls in half at cruize lol

well you have to ditch the original catch and put the likes of aerocatches on it, so you wont be slamming the bonnet!! It is an excellent way to lighten the car, and can make a huge impact on the looks, but you will have to fit release catches and the panels are expensive.
