am finking about geting a cam 4 my 1.4 8v. wood a 1.6 8v do the same job or is it the same cam. :D

doubt it mate otherwise every1 would do it lol, go for piper cams or schrick cams, not the cheapest mod but the most produtive of all mods.

i take it you got a c14nz in your van mate, coz if so im in the same boat as you i want more power but dunno the best way to get it, can anyone help???

yes the 1.6 cam will fit! it even fits in the 1.2, a 1.2 is able to keep up with a 1.4 with it done! as the valves are open more and longer!

nice one! i got the 1.4 single point injection, is it worth gettin a 1.6 single point throttle body and ecu to balance out the fueling?

if i cant get hold of a 1.6 cam would a c14se cam do in an nz? or would i need to change the head too?

you need a cam from a bigger version of your engine and your engine is a 8v you MUST use a bigger 8v cam! try looking for cavaliers in scrappys!
you dont need to get the SPI unit, but you can fit the 1.6 throttle body(not the injctor) also you can keep your SPI unit and change for the bigger inlet manifold for a bit of a performance increase :D
