I posted about my 1.4 corsa b, running a bit slow off the line and between gear changes
So far ive replaced.. Air filter, Oil, K-seal on the engine coolant leak, Redex the engine, new exhaust (mid and back)
What else can i do to get this car back to the way it was 10months ago?!
It used to smoke 1.6vtrs and most 1.4s it came accross, but since i bought it and finally passed my test its just a pile of crap now
Only thing left in my mind is remap..
Please give and advice you can to increase top end and mostly acceleration!
Cheers
Still no change!

Re: Still no change!
you canot map a standard ecu for a 1.4 corsa, an there is no way that your 1.4 corsa will smoke a saxo vts. A 2.0 16v corsa is a very good match for a 106 gti which run the same engine as a vts, so it very unlikley that you 1.4 corsa will smoke a vts, it probaly running just fine an maybe not as quick as you thinksmoothsebsta wrote:stick another lump in it mate, the amount of money u could spend and wot u already spent like exhaust etc u couldve put towards another engine, just an idea! ! ! ! or like u say get it mapped or chipped

remeber, corsa's are econmy cars, not racing machines, they arnt built to be fast they are built to be reliable,
id say you beat a saxo anyday by defaultm as saxos are rubbish lol
but ether a new engine or a full rebuild best way to go
