Hi, and firstly, "Hello".
I'm having problems with the standard fit alarm and need to disconnect it, my car is a Tigra Chequers, 1999.
It keeps re-arming, although the switch in the door has been disconnected and removed, and the powersounder too.
I have an aftermarket Cat1 on there, so the GM alarm is redunadant anyway, but after a year of being quiet, it's decided to come back to life and cause problems.
We've been struggling to find the ECU to unplug it.
TIS reckons it's with the C.Locking ECU in the o/s kickpanel, but it doesn't seem to be.
Anyone know where that thing is? We've had both kick panels, glovebox out, but can't find it.
Any help is appreciated.
Hugs,
Beth x

Re: Alarm ECU Location
Thanks for the response, I've got someone to have another look tomorrow.
Some guy on another forum reckoned it's built in with another ECU, but I can't understand how or which one?
Looking at the TIS info, it's it's ecu K94, and it's got it's own dedicated connector.
We saw the C.Locking relay pack, hidden behind the Multec ECU, but couldn't see much else, is it higher up than those 2?
Thanks again.

Re: Alarm ECU Location
It's possibly different on my Tigra then CJ.
The C.Locking relay pack is seperate to the alarm ecu on this one.
There aren't any wires on the C.Locking relay that are associated with the alarm, just the basic C.Locking wires. Conformed this with the TIS wiring diagrams.
The diagrams show the connector to the alarm (K94 which has 25 pins, but no location codes for it. do you recognise it anywhere from your car? (click for bigger pic)
Thanks for your help CJ, it's appreciated.
Kindest regards.
