I suspect this will be the mass air flow meter, but i will ask anyway.
When pulling away from roundabouts or junctions , the car starts to pull away the the revs stick at 2000 and after 3 seconds the suddenly kick in and the car pulls away.
Nearly caused so many accidents at junctions etc when yo need the acceleration to pull away.
what do you think

Re: Help with this one
Does it do it everytime or is it most of the time but not all or just some of the time.
If it's happning everytime and i mean everytime you pull away then I would say it's something else but if randomly at different times or just some of the time it will be the Air Flow Meter. Far too comman problem with them.

Re: Help with this one
its really 50/50, when pulling away. i tend to find it will do it when there is more than just me in the car.
i forgot to add that when on the motorway about 60/70, there is a little lack of accelration, then the engine electric light will come on at 70 then there will be no power, then if i break to around 60 the light will go off the the power comes back again
