not too much i would imagine as long as the bulb are bright enough to light up dials so they can be read at night it will pass mot and be road legal. I guess for me green is a bit funny cos indicator lights are green.

you gotta remember that on cheap budgets we're runnin we not gonna get fantastic lookin cars, however, you can definatley spend moeny wisely making it a lot nicer and more customised to ur liking. I wasnt and still am not really goin for any one look really, just wanna make it look nice, and the cheapest way to do that is to modify/"refresh" existing parts and to stick to cheaper sources for parts. All i really care bout now as such is makin the interior look nice, as long as im sat in my car lovin the environment i'll be happy, the exterior can wait now i got it back to normal comsmetics. Might do lights or sumin but cant be assed with body kits or engine mods myself. Proper body kits are a bitch to get to fit properly so all panels are equally spaced etc and the skirts etc need puttying and fibreglassin to the car. then paintin. Defo all about makin me and passengers in my car happy :D

So i taken a load of pics of the car after finishin this evening. The flash makes the pics look a bit crappy compared to how it looked durin the day. Will add some pics again when it light out.
Here the night time ones:

I really cant express how much i dont like the way these turned out but i want everyone to see. Some are much better than others, the paintwork is the same all over despite how the flash makes it look.

yeh looks good-i definatley like the interior bits painted on corsas..looks the tits!

one thing i would say with yours tho,is i wouldt of done the hazard switch green or the vents in the centre heater controls bit...just too much green for me lol..but if u like it then fair play.

yeh u dont have to do alot to the outside to make it nice...thats the beauty of corsas :) all u need really is the spoiler, lights(which u could just get can of tinting spray fr few quid),wheels and a half decent exhaust.all cheap cept the rims lol

then u can work on all the rest after.

just make sure u do what YOU want..not what everyone tells u to do.

there is quite a bit of green but the centre consonle looks ok cos the dash is all black. Might do the vent in the middle black at some point but not just yet. Looked at the handles etc today and i rekon when i next got spare dollars and the time i will just redo the whole door inc the material panel and the wing mirrors bit etc. Finished doin the audio installation and sound tweaks etc, and sorted out a new barrel an key so able to play stereo without keyring wedge in ingintion point. Havin minor prob with the amp though. It a four chanel kenwood kac-8404 but the B channel isnt givin any output. So had to do the amp bridged on the A channel while it runnin the 6X9's on A channel aswell. So on points 2 an 4 on connection block there is two wires. U know if this will be bad for the amp? Sounds dappa though!

yeh i wnna get the black interior out of a newer corsa...just b a case of unscrewing/unclippin the old panel bits with the material and swapping it over.

yeh bet it sounds well good..have u got sub in boot? and have u uprated the front door speakers?

so far iv only got 6x9s,but gonna change the front door speakers at some point, and all the wires are in the boot ready to go straight in sub n amp.i love ya headunit by the way.very nice.

i would of thought it would be fine as long as your not running to much through it...i ent expert on electrics tho lol...thats probz my worst bit with cars lol.

but yeh im sure it will be fine as a temporary fix mate.

ill be gutted if i gotta get a new amp cos b channel fried! But either way i had it running for half hour today up load to get it hot and there was no electrical smells so i guess it will b fine. I have changed the front door speakers for 240watt 10cm kenwood door speakers. Just drilled new holes and mounted them on gromits to stop vibrations from em on the door cos couldnt be assed with all the poo prefaabricated corsa b door speakers in mounts. Got a SPLX 400watt 12" sub in the boot and them new 6x9's. Dont want it to be much louder but maybe a 800watt sub upgrade at some point so it more bassy. Can feel it in ur gut already though if i bass test the system, so it does the job. Maybe some door handle tweaters..or new A pillars left and right with row of three tweaters in each. The head unit was only £130 like a year ago. Could get a much better one for that now :( but nvm, it does the job needed.
Wanna get rid of all the "colourfull" swirly patterned door/rear interior panels....but might aswell do the roof lining, door handles and trays, sunvisors and maybe the floor. Im stuck on whether or not to put new carpet down on the floor or to hoover/wash then dye or fabric paint the floor carpet black. and i'll have to take out the front seat and protect the dash if i spray the carpet inside the car. so i really dont know. Everytime i start to think about doin one thing i keep thinkin how i could do sumin else at the same time that would technically save time if done at same time rather than another day. ROFL! typical enthusiast.

Looks pretty good what you've done. Can i give you a tip tho? Change the colour of the actual vents back to black. Would look much better. on that left vent its too green. Having black vents would soften it down on the eyes.

What would look really good would be to have your car repainted in black rather than green. The interior would be a complete contrast then compared to a green car. Plus black cars with contrasting interiors look mint!! (Aslong as interior done tastfully!! lol) you know what i mean!

lol...yeah i know what u mean. For real though the interior is alot less in ur face when u sat in the car, those pictures were taken at night so the flash made the green look alot brighter and shiny than it really is. When i got time, most likely once i done sumin else in it, i will take daytime pics which do it more justice. To be honest the finishes look kinda bodge from them pics! lol...or maybe they really are! Gonna focus on the inside for now before i do any exterior stuff. Will have to get a thatcher 1 alarm at some point and when i do that it will bring insurance down hopefully enough to let me do sufficient exterior mods with no/little extra cost.

Fair enough. As dan said. (well basically) each to their own!

If you do come down to the Power Vauxhall Show you should see my White corsa 1.0ltr on there. Was bog standard like yours was. It's looks loads different now. Hopefully by the show it'll look even better.

i was lookin at santa pod and thinkin bout it, but it like 3 1/2hr drive from where i live and i got nowhere to stay when im there unless i camp or go B'N'B. that and im not sure it will be quite good enough compared to other show cars i seen on their website! Might head down though to have a look round. U know if we gonna get a club stand/area like other corsa websites? (MIG, corsa-c.co.uk etc), might be kinda worth by then, just depends on money and time. That and it in the middle of my end of year exam period, so dont know if it will clash with any exams yet.

Fair enough

Well i started the thread about the PVS and a stand or not. Apparently if we can get 5 or more of us going then we'll have a stand.
