Heated Rear Window Switch

Please could anyone explain how to remove and replace new bulb in Heated Rear Window Switch. I have purchased a new bulb from main dealer but can't figure out how to get to the old one.

This is really fiddely but it can be done as I've attempted this myself but still never got it working.

Once you've taken the switch out you then have to take it's self apart. Then you will need an soldering iron to swap the bulb out with the new.

When I asked Vauxhall for replacement bulb for the rear heated window switch they said they didn't do then bulbs for this and that you had to buy a complete new switch so just left it.

Tanks Dan, I think I will take your advice it doesn't seem worth going to all that trouble just to change the bulb.
