Fitting a new radio...

Hey guys, me again..

Right, I'll get to the point. I've got a 1997 Corsa B Vegas and I'd like to fit it with a brand new radio/head unit etc etc.
The current unit in there is a Grundig Car 200.

Here is the radio in question:

Basically, what I'm asking is will I need any specialist equipment to remove the original unit, wire in the new one, if possible into the clock display but not essential.

Will I be needing these?
PC2-04-4 Vauxhall to ISO Adaptor Lead
PC5-27 ISO to DIN Aerial Adaptor Lead

Sorry for the vagueness but as I said before, first car and first experience lol.

Any ideas?

i haven't seen one of those units before but while i was working never had to use adaptors on corsa b's jus need a set of 2 pin radio keys if u go to your local car radio shop if you have one near you and ask if they have any philips radio keys you could buy they will get the original unit out and u may need a 20 torx screw driver to get the original cage out and a flat head screw driver to secure the new cage in...no adapters for the leads or ariel may need a ariel extension cos corsa ones no matter what model b/c/d all have short ariel cables and arew a bitch to get connected

Ok, thanks for that, just ordered twin pins especially for the Car 200/300/400.
Hopefully everything will be up and running by tuesday/wednesday.

dont think you could wire it to the clock display sadly as these only ment to work with the original hed unit that it came with
that said a few little tricks u can do with the clock is off is press both buttons for about 10seconds and it will show u your speed in kph

also if (like me) you fitted an after market stereo and found the date on you display goes blank, take it off and cut the wire (or remove the pin) for pin 8
this way your date should stay on when your stereo is on

to wire a stereo you will just need the iso adapter, and maybe the arial adapter, i didnt have the arial adapter so i cut the wire and solderd the correct end on it

Just ordered both the leads off ebay for £5 in total, didn't think it was that much of a bad deal.
