Broked my sub woof!

It appears i have blown my sub up! I thought it was only 400watts cos was tol that by my m8 when he sold it to me for £20 inc enclosure. Now i've taken it out and looked at it i found out it 700watts and got 2x50oz magnets, which to replace is gonna cost me like £120 quid! Anyone know any decent 700-800 watt subs that any good? Preferably kenwoods and pioneer that are 12" plz!
