high idle after cold start
my x16xe idles at around 1500/1600rpm for about 5 minutes after i start the car, then it'll go back down to about 1100. but if the engine is already warm it wont do this. the thing is, in my old 1L corsa, it would only do that on a really cold start. with this new one it does it at normal temperatures. it only doesnt do it if the engine is actually warm if you get what i mean.

Re: high idle after cold start
could be your idle control valve, give it a clean n try it.
bear in mind it will idle slighty higher wen cold to keep the engine running as it takes more effort to keep it going when runnigh an engine from cold
if u get what i mean lol
