Fixing MFD bulbs
I replaced the bulbs in my centre console, freezing to death all the while. I saw I had 2 LEDs left so thought I'd give replacing bulbs in MFD a go. ended up destroying the bulb in one and cant get broken its out. Do I need to buy a new bulb with holder or can i get a bulb on its own cos i cant see any way to only replace the bulb.

the bulbs are mennna be easy to remove. I did it on mine last week to check em when i painted the dash. The black bit is part of the bulbs itself. they turn 90 degrees anti-clockwise to enable them to be released. The bulb is not menna come out of that black platic bit. Take it with ya to halfords or local car autp shop and u can buy new ones. They come in the black plastic fitting bit as standard. I believe they are "509t" interior bulbs for the larger ones; the smaller ones im not so sure about. Eitherway i dont see how u managed to break it, try using pliers to grip it and turn it anticlockwise then it should come out easy as anything.

Agree, there soldered into the holder. Local motor factors should keep them in stock too.
