if you have a volto meter check to make sure your live feeds are giving off a live and your earths are ok if poss try head unit in another car to double check have you got your earths and lives the right way round cause they seem to be backwards on vauxhalls for some reason also does it have the standard block connectors in there if so get to halfords about £14 for the proper connectors

hope this helps

it probably the ignition barrel. when u put the key in the ignition turn it to poin 1/2 or just start ur engine. Then push the key while, it in the barrel, but harder. Kinda like ur forcing it in the barrel. The headunit will probably turn on when u do this. when u release the key the headunit will turn off again? This is cos the meachanism inside the barrel that controls the circuit breaker for headunit power is plastic and wears/breaks in older corsas. If this is ur prob, then u have two options. New ignition barrel, this is tedious though and can be costly if u want to keep the same key, immobilser chip, transpoder ring and ECU. There are workarounds/shortcuts but the easiest thing to do is remove the current live feed u have for ur headunit and run a new one from the fusebox.
