problem help!!! corsa 1.0l 12v

hi, right heres my problems:

-when i lift of my accelerator, it carries on accelorating.

-when idoling, it sometimes revs to 1200 and at other times it sits at 500

if anybody has an idea on what these problems could be then let me no cheerz

had this problem with mine, check where the accelrator cable is too tight, the throttle (that the accelrator cable) was getting stuck open a quick spray of wd40 sorted it
