Heya!

the clutch pedal is REALLY high!
i need the seat really far forward so i can get the pedal right down to the floor but i cant take my foor off again with out the steering wheel getting in the way of my leg or banging my knees of the steering colum.
This is really a problem as the clutch is soo high that i need to like lift my whole leg up to press it down and there aint room lol ... say if there was a problem e.g accident waiting to happen i wouldnt be able to stop the car quick enough.
Is there anything that i could do?

Your clutch cable prob need adjusting. There is a little adjuster on the cable at the back of the engine bay where the cable normally comes through if your not sure ask a garage to adjust it for you.

go garage shouldnt be to expensive...or u can do it on the cheep and use gaffa tape and a wooden block to make the pendal a bit higher. My old drivin instructor used to have to do that sometimes for the petite girls he taught! lol! Aslong as it secure and doesnt cause you to inadvertantley knock other pedals when using it u should be fine.

Re: Clutch and space issue HELP PLEASE :(
As said, sounds like the cable needs adjusting. As your looking at the engine bay with the bonnet open, look down to your right hand side by the gearbox, you'll see the cable infront of you. The SHOULD be a small retainng clip at the back of the cable, remove that, pull the cable towards you and away from the fork arm(so it takes up the slack) adjust the larger nut inwards, so it takes up some of the slack in the cable. Pump the clutch pedal a couple of times, then see if the biting point is lower, if not repeat steps above. IF this small retaining clip is missing, then either buy another or as a temp repair, put a cable tie around it to stop the cable de-adjusting itself. If you've done all the and its still no good then the clutch is fooked. If you take it into your local garage it should take no longer than 10 mins to do. Hope that helps.
