Timing Belt HELP HELP Corsa B GLS Diesel 1.7D

Post by sumitescp »

Hello, This is my first post, I have have tried to search for this but I could not really find it anywhere.
I have a 1999 VX Corsa B 1.7 Diesel with an Isuzu engine.
The timing belt was changed at 48K miles.
The milage now is 91K.
When do I need to change it?
Somewhere I have read 40K somewhere 50k and others say that cars with isuzu engine will be fine untill 80k?
So my question is what is the final answer? Because I really dont want my engine to be damaged because of a stupid timing belt.

Some help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

IIRC it 40k and 5 years which ever comes sooner. The the price of a cambelt kit, its cheaper than a rebuild or new engine.......
