how fast has anyone had a 1.0 12v?

i used to have one and got it up to 98mhp , there was a speed camera i had to slow down, was so gutted i didnt get a ton ...i was just curious to know what speed anyone has had theirs up to

iv had mine to 98 too, my friend didnt believe me so i took him for a spin and got 98 again. still havent hit the 100 yet either.. Pocket Rocket!! lol

i have a k and n induction kit on mine and a forced cold air feed and i raced another 1.0l but it was a 04, i beat it off the line until about 90mph but the top speed is about 105 on the 04 model so it caught up with me...

Fastest i've got mine was 108mph. Was going down hill like.

Can't get it anywhere near on flat ground.

iv bin in a 1.2 16v corsa thats completely standard-and we got 90 in 4th gear without hittin the limiter and iv been in a 2.0 redtop at 125mph.

mines a 1.2 8v with induction kit n backbox..and its well nippy..will do over 90 no problem.

my 1.0 12v has been up to about 99 downhill with just me in it. i reckon the only way you could get these to go any quicker would be to drive one of the edge of a cliff!!! lol!!!......

i got a 1.2l.....managed to get 108 out of it once goin south on the M1. There a big decline some way before the from alton towers exit that all straight...felt so sketchy though had to quit while i was ahead, the steering went super super light lol!

the 1.0i has more horsepower than the 1.2 8v
the 1.0i had 55bhp the 1.2 8v had 45bhp

Hit 106mph on a flat, with full engine rebuild de-cat straight through sports exhaust with twin exit, lowered and induction kit, also a spoiler and 205x50x15s in my 1.0 12v

my 1.0 12v (200) has done about 96mph with just me in it...

it'll easily cruise around 80-90 as long as theres no uphill... if there is.. then it chucks a hissy fit cuts the power and puts the e.m.l on until i back off the revs...

The new widened stretch of M1 south of Luton has got a wickedly long dip in it..

Might ask my mate if we can pop out there in his Integra Type R and see what it tops out at... it'll do 160 on flat
