how fast has anyone had a 1.0 12v?

tried again tonight to see if i could get anymore and i got 99mph this time ... thought it was goin to hit 100, i think i may have just done it if idint have to slow down...

i had my first car (corsa 1.4 8v sri) top out at 105/106, my second car (corsa 1.2 swing with 2.0 cav ecotech engine) dont know coz the speedo was not working, but it was f*****g fast!!! and my latest car (corsa- obv - 1.6 16v sport) fastest i had it was 115, gf was in the car so i never went any faster, had just over 1000 revs left but prob wont go much faster than that!!!

had mine to 110 on the m62 but think i had wind behind me

ye i think 110 is about pushin it for the 1.2 8valvers...but they will happily do 80-90 all day as long as theres no uphills lol

bear in mind uf u got a bodykit and a fat subwoofer and a car full of mates ur not goin get anyware near 100mph lol
il stick with my 140mph diesel

60 out of my corsa. I stay to the speed limit. 70 on the bike though, but thats where illegal come alright

i try and stick to speed limits as dont want bad habits for test day...but i cant help it when im out in my corsa lol

don't wanna burst your bubbles but are you going off speedo indicated speed? because most over-read, more so the faster you go. For example my Vito overreads by 5 mph @ 70, so 75 mph speedo indicated speed is 70 mph actual speed.

im going off a speed trap for my bike going in to a village. so thats accurate enough i think.

lol we tried seein wot the limit was on them speed indication devices in a rally evo 6(the one in my project log)..we were doin 118mph but it only flashed up 99 haha

laser speedtrap checked my speed, and it was actualy faster than my speedo was indicating

as for them speed signs i think they only go up to 99mph danthemann lol
