corsa 1.4 16v sri 1995 M reg non start

Please can someone help me.

i've recently bought a corsa 1.4 16v sri, and it has been running fine, then last night the alarm when off with no one around or near the car.. I unlocked the car, the alarm went off (as did the flashing indicators)i then locked the car as usual, and thought nothing more of it.
this morning i came to start the car to go to work and it's now just turning over and not fireing.

i've checked for a spark, i have one at all 4 plugs.
i've checked for fuel, there is fuel going to the injectors.
it doesn't have an aftermarket alarm and imobiliser fitted, (as far as i'm aware it's original vauxhall).

please can someone give me some more ideas or let me know if something like this has happened to them?!?!?

Fuel to the injectors?? What do you mean by that? How did you test that?

hi. i checked the fuel going to injectors by taking out the spark plugs and they were wet.
i'm no mechanic but i assumed the injectors were working if the plugs were wet?

could be something as simple as a flat battery...sounds to me like its something electrical seein as the alarm went off for no reason..so could of drawn power from the battery.

yh i agree it could just be battery, i got a stupid alarm on my one that sumtimes goes off and next mornin it wouldnt start, just jumped it and it started fine.

Ah right, along the fuel rail there is a what looks like a tyre valve cap (remove that) and again underneath that cap there's what looks like a tyre valve stem. Push the valve stem down whilst getting someone to turn the ignition on, BUT be carefull as fuel SHOULD piss out of there. If it does then you've got fuel up to the injectors. The plugs maybe wet as the injectors will keep switching (not off full throttle tho) but if the fuel pressure is low then they wont. If it dont piss out, then it could be the alarm/imobiliser cutting the feed to the fuel pump causing you your problems.

well i tested the for fuel by testing the valve (thingy) at the end of the fuel rail, and guest what, fuel pissed out.
i replaced the battery with a new one just to be on the safe side
i've checked all the fuses, there ok
i checked incase the cam belt had snapped( stupid but i'm clutching at straws)
i've checked to see if i've fuel in the tank, i have.

i'm all out of ideas....................

Not stupid mate as that would be my next port of call.....
You've definetly got spark?? If you've got fuel, spark and compression it should run.

Have you got a spare key to try, incase the transponder chip has fallen out and not coding with the ECU.

i have got a spark (definately), i got fuel and i got compression but no go.
as for the key, i got 1 key for the car, it's like the old style vauxhall key. like the one for an opel manta, vauxhall chevette etc.
i contacted the previous owner and they said they've only ever had 1 key.

i've taken the covers off from around the steering column and there seems to be a plastic ring round the ignition barrel. i assume that when the ket is it the barrel it sends some sort of signal to that plastic thing and then that sorts out the immobiliser and alarm.

it wants wiring to a computer then to see if nethings gone wrong n broken down
and atleast they will be able to tell u if the imobilizer is not swiching off

Imobilizers will only cut spark or fuel pump so if both working then its vey strange. Compression test it.

my alarm goes off for no reson lyk dew 2 bad earth, thas probs ur problem, it could be bad earth on the engine as mine would just turn ova and tha, i tow it and it run for 2 mins then cut out, i moved the earth on the engine and it works fine, try movein the earth on the engine mate
