just wondering if there is supposed to be a light in the glove box or not?

yeh ive never like... taken note of one being there...

and i really cant be bothered to go and look lol.

The gap is there for one, i've not currently got one for mine but i have got the light etc to go in there from another vauxhall.

That reminds me i got that about 2years ago and forgot i had it. lol

Only seems to be the top model 'CDX' that have the light in the glove box.

some of the better spec modles had em but usualy no
but u cn fit one if u want

Depends on what spec motor you have buddy.
Me, I have a 1.2 16V Club which doesnt have a glove box light as standard.
You will know by looking though if you have one and it doesnt work, or indeed you just do not have one.

As you open the glove box have a look on the upper left corner.If it just has a rubber stopper then you do not have one, if there is a switch there then you probably have and its just a bulb replacement needed. Also if you look inside the glovebox again in the upper left area you will see a rectangular hole where the light assembly goes or you will see the lens.

Mate, if you dont have one, then a little trip down your local breakers should secure you one then just find the wires to plug it into. If you cant find them its easy enough to spur off the loom and create the power source you need. 8)

My corsa has a light in the glove box and its 1996 , but mabye coz its sport . they tot they wuld throw in a light, which tnh dosent even work lol
