Just recently got my first Corsa, and like many others had a problem with my headunit losing pre-sets.
Have read many posts about this issue and how to solve by swapping the red/yellow wires over on the rear of the unit, but I would like to add the folllowing;
Dont get too hung up on the colour thing, maybe most head units are indeed colour coded red/yellow for the Perm live/Ignition live but for my unit the wires were actually red/orange.
In a nutshell it's easy there should be two fused wires with bullet connectors on them at the back of your headunit, swap em over job done.
Whilst I was there I sorted out the date display issue, which I also think is a common issue when an aftermarket unit has been fitted.
If you lose your date display when you turn your unit on this is how you get it back: port 8 which is a red+grey wire going into the display unit needs to be cut. Once done you will have full display on your dash unit whether the headunit is on or not.
Hope this all makes sense and is of some use to someone out there. Cheers.

Re: Headunit issues.
on the back of the head unit there is a yellow and a red wire....connect the red to the yellow and yellow to red and it will save your pre-sets
