In car DVD player.

Just put a dvd player in me car n it dunt seem to have any memory.
when i switch the ignition off it turns off ok n everything but wen i switch the ignition on it doesnt seem to remember the time, radio stations, tv stations or weather i was listenin to the cd player or radio. Ive been told that two wires need connecting on the scarts at the back but no1 seems to no which wires need connecting.
Any1 have any ideas???

in the back of the block connector ther are your speaker wires but there should be 5 others i think 2 lives one earth, remote, anntenna the 2 lives either need to be conected together or they need to be swapped but if u go to halfords get the proper connecter there already done for ya hope this helps

on your wiring loom you should have a simmlar setup



you will need to cross over the red and yellow wires like the photo

so the red wire comes out of the stereo and in to the redwire, and the redwire comes out of the stereo in to the yellow wire


certan cars have the ignition live and perminant like backwads (my car included) so you have to cross em
