Corsa Front Grille Honeycombe Style

Hi, i've fitted a front grille onto my corsa b which seemed really easy. Just the 2 screws and then clip it in. But when i'm looking at other corsas online i notice that they've not got a gap between the top of the grille and the bottom of the bonnet. Have i fitted it wrong or is it designed like that?? :meh:
