Bucket Seat = Performance gains?

Post by jar_jar89 »

Might sound stupid but is the combined weight of reclining bucket i think a pair weigh in at around 15kilos weigh much less than the standard seats? so basically besides havin more comfortable seats, are their any gains in acceleration or 0-60? rolf....but gotta be asked if not to educational reasons then to keep forums active

in theory, yes...you are losing a little bit of weight, so it will change the overall performance. however, it may be so minute you will never notice. They arent much lighter than the standards, so unless you go for carbon/glass fibre or kevlar based seats...no, you wont notice much of a difference.
