yeh mate.well if u decide to cut ur grill out its not as hard as u may think..but i used like a jigsaw/electric saw..coz i cudnt get the junior hacksaw in to cut it out properly..but with the jigsaw it took 2secs..all i gotta do now is find a file and take all the excess off then wet n dry the edges smooth..get some mesh..job done.i think it looks much better already.

yeah...i guess u could move the induction kit so that it has a feed from behind the mesh to cold air which will be forced better in when u drivin. Thats wat i would do

it looks alrite but pics in daylight would be better lol isent there like a big curve now in the middle at the bottom or have you filled it in? does look alot better thow

he not done the bottom grille yet i dont think...only the one where the badge is infront of the radiator

oh i dunno you lot are mad you just love mincin about i mean where the badge was in the middle has it not left like a curve at the bottom u know like this ---------u-------- and what mesh you going to use mate dont get none of that cheap stuff it just looks like chicken wire

well it not my car it dans. And i dunno what mesh he plannin on usin but i guess it will be pretty fine mesh that already painted black. think i would get rid of that u bit with some fibreglassin if i was dan....or bend the mesh so it peaked in teh middle or sumin...but hard to achieve a good shape with mesh really.

there is a daylight pics if u go back a page zep lol...and yeh there is a small hole where the badge was..but once its all smoothed it dont look that bad at all...and im not using the normal chicken wire lookin mesh..its like a sheet of metal with little circles in-i think it looks better..dunno if i should do it black or silver tho??

i will have to wait til i get white paint then lol...coz iv only got black at the moment lol...spose i can jus leave it silver til i get white paint.

i was thinkin of doin it same blue as my mudflaps but thought it wouldnt look right.but i do like the idea of it white..so white it will be lol

just order the mesh in white mate. Either that or get it in standard bare metal and sand it and paint it in high temp engine paint. Will cost like £15 -£20 for the paint but at least then u know it gonna stick to the metal for ages and it wont crack due to heat changes...like goin down motorway...the mesh is cooled cos air flow but engine bay is gettin well hot...then u come off at slip road and have to slow down the rapid heat change on cheap paint is prone to makin it crack and bubble. Also when it comes to cleanin ur car u can be more vigerous at scrubbing them dead bus off the grille...not sure how standard paint takes to being scrubbed at.

i might just leave it silver lol until i can get hold of some cheap high temp paint.
