looking for a alarm, i realy dont know what alarm to get i wanted a toad ai606 but i got quoted £343 for supply and install, which is too much for me as i only intend to spend around 250.
so now im back to square 1, looking for a alarm, so i phoned about and i got offerd this 'Sniper x1 or x2' alarm in my budget, but i looked it up on and i cant find any reviews on this alarm, does anyone know wat they are like? or is it some cheap alarm thats not worth the trouble?
what im after in a alarm is:
chirping on arm/dissarm
perimiter protection
warning system when too close to car
flashing LED on dash
multi tone siren
central locking
and the usual stuff
can anyone recommend me anything within my 250 budget?

Re: need a alarm!!
You can get insurance discounts if you have a toad. So the money may come back to you.
I have just got an alarm installed called a E50 EUROSEC which has worked a treat, and has the added bonus of anoying your mates by having a microwave sensor that you can activate to a set distance around the car. If you say don't go near my car then they really cant. In total it cost me £145 for purchase and installatiion but the company only work around the M25 area.
You can get alarms from this brand (not well known but very well used) from around £60 if you feel like installing them yourself/
I can send over my contact's information if you want?
