Power steering 1996? ?

Is it possible to have power steering put into my 1996 corsa sport 1.4 16v ? ? and does any1 know how much we talking to get it done ruffly? ?

OR should i just leave it without power steering??? i am wanting to fit an aftermarket steering wheel aswell, so wuld this work?

yeah you can fit it mate i once got the full power steering for £80 (not elctronic ) from my local scrapyard but i then fitted it my self so i dont know how much it would cost to get somone else to fit it for you i dont think it would be cheap thow as its apreety big job iv seen the electronic setups go on ebay for like £100 but they dont come up to often if i was you id not bother steering wheel is easy just bolt off an bolt the new one in its place has yours got airbag?

if its a big job then f**k it ill just leave it lol its my 1st car, and im sure not having power steering wont be a problem atm lol
yea it does have airbag mate that will make it harder yeah??

thats the wheel i wana buy for the corsa, do u think i culd still connect the horn somehow??

Yeah it will gon but you will also need a boss kit 6 holes like momo or summat.you just wont have airbag

most corsas dont have airbags anyway do they?

not 2 sure, ino my mates dosent,. but my corsa is a sport , so i tink thats why it has one, its a big fat steering wheel with airbag writin on it

any1 know how 2 disconnect the airbag? :S:S jus take battery out??
