Hi, im from south africa, i c that u guys have 16v corsa\'s? sniff sniff we have 8v version i have 1.6 is 8 v blah !! how much does a 16v head go for in uk?

From \'what\' Ive been told...
The 1.6 8v blocks are the same as the 16v blocks (C16SE or whatever the 8v ones are...)
the 16v head \'should\' go ontop, but will require pretty much everything else, manifolds, ECU, Loom, etc etc...
to be fair, it would probably be cheaper to get a 2nd hand X16XE engine shipped over to you from the UK with all the bits ready to fit! Plus saves faffin about trying to sort out all the other bits & such!

oh bleh !! that sucks, what r ur power specs at stock? sounds like 2 much a mission hey, when my warrenty is over ill get 2.0 16v

to be fair... your 1.6 8v\'s will be better than the 16v\'s at standard...
X16XE (16v 1.6i) is 106bhp STOCK
C16SE (8v 1.6i) is 100bhp STOCK
PLUS the 8v will have better low-down grunt & torque...
