Chrome Airflow Vents... Question?

Post by BAk99 »

Hey i just recently got these chrome vents to put into my corsa, and well just to ask whether i slot the vents into the gap or do i need to take off the middle part of the dashboard to install them; also instructions to install the side vents aswell. The original ones where already removed so i dont know how they were taken out.

Thankyou

if u get stuk jus let me know.but it is fairly easy...

i just used 2 smallish flathead screw drivers..u just sort of pull the vents down til they clik and u have a gap at the top..then pry it out from one of the sides at the same time as pullin out from the top of the vent..sure u will manage it..

and to put new ones in its pretty self explanatory reli..

the haynes manual is worth gettin if u not familiar with cars, in specific the corsa b. It has everything about the car in it. U could potentially take the car apart completely to just the frame/shell of the car and then clean it and put it back together, assumin ur good at it and dont damage anything and u cleaned everthing sparkling u could make the car look near factory new. assuming theres no scratches, dents, rips/tears etc etc.
In a sense it is the instructino manual on how to build the car but with the perspective that work to be carried out is for repairing/checking wear etc on the parts. For example, it has instructions to strip the interior. It tells u how to completly dismantle the engine and put it together again. basically it one of the cheapest things u gonna buy for ur car yet is one of the most improtant things to em. look around...i got mine of internet from a book recycling company for £8.50
