its the glue mate. it didnt take long really to get them off, just pulled them off without any energy lol! looks much better even with the glue still on but ive got some tar remover now so ill get that done 2morro and post some pics up what it looks like

the easiest way to do the whole thing is with a heat gun i think ive posted how i did it on another thread sumwere

im almost there with my rubstrips now! naerly got all the glue off but flippin hell its takin a long time, im usin tar remover which is good but its takin forever!!! lol

ive still got the strips but im keepin them sorry mate, just incase i go to sell the car to an old person or family haha they wud prefer the strips on

Ok people ive got 2 items on ebay that im highest bidder for atm and they dont finish for another 3-5 days but if i win i will be adding 60mm springs back and front and a sportex backbox... hope i win!

do u like the green and black interior? :D am gonna do the exterior and engine etc in the not so far future, but just workin my way from the inside out while it cold season and im at uni. Will get GSI body kit and some new panels cos it cheaper than to get current panels fixed of dents lol. then get it will be resprayed in some kind of green/black similar/complimentary to the interior. Then will lower it and get new exhaust system. then clean up engine bay or sumin and new air intake/filter and radiator. Save up for a while then engine conversion time baby!! :D :lol:

yeahhh boyyyy lol! im working on the outside at the mo but im skint! got laid off at bmw :( so im doin an ebay job! cheapppp stuff on there! gettin a spoiler and grille for under £20... was winnin on a sportex backbox and 60mm springs but some1 outbid me and i cant go any higher! not fair looool. i want a respray aswell but in orange 8)

every1 losing jobs atm...its insane! what kind of orange u goin for? the fords focus ST orange? or sumin custom? im think i might just go with standard ford modena signal green with a black trim round the lower section to keep costs down
