V5 Reg document

hmm, i just bought a corsa, i got my V5 document back 2day, its got the wrong registration number of the car, but all the wrong details, it says the car is a suzuki vitara estate, wat do i do? lol

was it a private sale or dealer sale??

if it was dealer - go see them to sort it
private - see the person you bought the car from

ring the DVLA about it too and inform them

take it back to were you got it from and get your money back youve been sold a ringer

If it has had a cherished plate on the car and the owner has kept that but not informed the DVLA of change over then it might just be a mix up, i would check with DVLA 1st and see what they say!

lol, i bought it from my mums m8, they must of jus got things messed up, i sent it back with a letter sayin its the completely wrong papers n give em my address n the details of my car with the proper reg

this happened when my mum bought her fiat punto a few years back, had it about a week and the dealer add put the wrong plates on. went back to the dealer in the end where the plates where changed to the correct ones

well, i sent it back with a letter saying that these are the incorrect documents for my vehicle, and i wrote the details of my vehicle on some paper and sent it all back to them, and today, i got the exact same reg document back saying that i am still the registered keeper of the vehicle, but its the wrong registration and everythin, gonna fone em up

simple - if the DVLA keep trying to say this \'other\' vehicle is yours, then declare it as scrap!

or go find it and \"steal\" it cant be done for it you apparently own it
