booot suggestions please..

need to do sumat about me boot. cuz its tooo rusty around the wiper and on the bottom. dnt know weather to flush it or buy a new one but i wanna keep the screen cuz its tinted. havnt got much spend aswell . does anyone think it would work if i bought a boot flush pannel painted it and fitted it on with velcro or sumat and buy a boot release off ebay ???????

lol...just get a set of colour code matched paint pens from halfords or somwhere similar. they come with a little sanding block, rust converter primer and the paint colour u require and a little paint removin stick for if u get messy on the paintwork. they are bout £7, i got some myself recently and they are pretty good for small/medium rust marks and paint chips. i had a semi circle ring of paint/rust damage over the top of the rear winwod wiper motor. it all good now and barely noticeable. makes a good, cheap fix lol

all well and good but rust is car cancer, do it right 1st or you will just keep having problems

make sure you sand off all the rust and reprime it then get generous with the paint
dont just paint over the rust because it will just spread.
