rear speakers

Post by gonzo94 »

want to put some speakers in the rear of my 3dr 1.2 trip, dont want to put 6x9's in the parcel shelf as i need boot space for all my tool's,just enough room for my large toolbox with shelf down,is there enough room to put some 170mm speakers in the panel cards or do i have to mount them on spacers.
any ideas please.

read a post from other member who has put his speakers in rear cards an states that the sound is crap, cant see how the sound not to good as your front speakers are in a hollow door cavity and should resonate the same in the rear, maybe the magnets on the speakers is to close to the body skin, hence the reason for mounting on spacers to keep them clear of the bobywork 8)
