Re: Steering
did you do something before this happened, I can't imagine the steering to just suddenly stop working.
What do you mean you fixed the steering wheel.
Do you have power steering that could be faulty but the steering should still work just stiff.
Try jacking both front wheels up and turn the wheel see what happens with no wieght on them then grab each wheel and see if you can turn them with your hands they should be firm with no movement.
be carefull while jacking you should support with axle stands.

Re: Steering
no i did nothing before this when i say the wheel broke i mean inside the steering wheel there are like little grooves which go onto the steering colum that also has little grooves on the grooves on my steering wheel were worn so had to replace the steering wheel when i did this for some reason i can no longer turn to the left 1 of my friends has ramps and axles so he is gonna come round tommoz and we are gonna have a look underneath the car.

Re: Steering
OK I get you, the grooves are called splines they were worn so you replaced the wheel.
I'd gues your problem would still be in this area maybe splines are only catching on one side or the steering lock is damaged.
How did the splines get worn? they wouldnt just wear from normal use the steering wheel would have to be forced to damage them.

Re: Steering
That makes more sense i'm realy sory to hear that happened to your car, my drivers door got bent outwards a while ago.
I'm guessing they were forcing the steering wheel around to snap the steering lock.
With yours being a 1994 it won't have an immobiliser and therefore much esier to steel.
I would take the steering column apart and have a look for more damage that you missed last time.

Re: Steering
