Corsa Breeze 1.0 Revs While Idle!

Since ive had my car its been running fine but lately while im sittin at the lights it starts to rev up 2k-3k! and then when i pull away it feels sluggish and slower than usual! can any help?

havin the same problems more or lesss . ive bin told give me car a good service . oil.oil filter.air filter. and also have a good look at air flow meter and tha hope this helps abit but cnt say much as i still havnt propperly fixed my own.

Lol mine used to do this...My mate fixed it i think it was something to do with the throttle

I would sugest taking out the control motor and giving it a clean with carb cleaner.
should be fine after that

Id look around the plenum/intake area for an air leak.

might just be a case of the carb needin a gd clean, the poo around it could be causing it to stick open.

My uncle who works for RAC has took the Idle control valve out to have a look but hasnt cleaned it so i will tell him when he services my car but he has also disconnected the cables from the ECU and cleaned the crap around it and reconnected, been working fine since that this morning but ill give it a clean and see how that runs and let u no! cheers ppl
