Re: cheap modfications
1stly welcome to the site . depends what you mean by cheap. how much money is cheap to you , as thers nothink really that you can do for pennies to improve the outside of your car apart from de-badging ( taking off the black side strip if it isnt already off.or a good wash and wax lol . however you could always improve the sound by removing all pipes inside your airfilter ( if you havnt got a k&n or pipercross)....

if u wnt a nice lookin front splitter u cant go wrong with the old skool renaunt laguna splitter, i gt 1 for min n it looks lush, u cn pick em up on ebay for bout a tenner. the best thing to do is(it sounds a bit too cheapy)is go down to the local scrappy every week n have a look about. i gt a nearly new full stainless straight thru exhaust with de-cat pipe for £20! bargain!

Re: cheap modfications
ahhh right,
well nothing sounds too cheap to me mate
apprentiship wage and all that
cheaps aboutttt £50 for me for each mod
not just turning a corsa into a lambo for £50 haha
but how hard is taking all the pipes out of the air filer and what does it do to the sound of the engine
cheers
and thanks for the welcome

Re: cheap modfications
also seeing as u sed urs is an r plate...im assuming it still has the old style grill...so u could do what i did-cut the grill out and mesh it..if u dont get what i mean have a look on my project log called white rally slag.
theres plenty of things you could do with £50 a time...backbox,lights,side repeaters, spoiler, speakers etc...or if u just save up a little bit u can get whatever you want lol..

Re: cheap modfications
hey ive also got a corsa R reg, un-mod'd, thinking about replacing the air filter with a k&n induction kit, good idea or bad idea do we think? because i read that because its a small engine it may (and i quote) "suck in ambient air meaning less air to the engine" so it loses power.... any comments??
cheers Ben.
