Painting Steering Wheel?ideas?

iv decided that instead of forking out for a new steering wheel-im gonna just paint mine..coz if u look the standard corsa wheels arnt actually a bad shape..so just gotta decide on colours now...i know which bits of the wheel im gonna do tho..probz gonna be black and blue..or maybe black and white to match the rest of my interior.

im not convinced the paint will take so well to the rubber material the wheel is made of. I painted the window winders and whilst the paint hasnt chipped or anything, they always feel kind of sticky and attract a fair bit of dust to em for sum reason! If i cocks up i will give ya my old stock steering wheel at pvs for free or sumin lol. Then u could just use the painted one for shows or sumin untill u can afford a proper one lol.
