Mechanic Apprenticeships?

Any of you lads out there got an apprenticeship for a mechanic job?

Being doing joinery, but theres just no apprenticeships going and the works annoying me at college. I've always loved tinkering with things and fixing/repairing.. why im a bike mechanic aswell hah!

So just wondering if anyone had any input to pass around, like how you got into it and how you found one etc.. Thanks.

hi mate, im nearly out of my apprenticeship, if your after to get into a dealership try applying through VT training, emtec, remit. then if you get in your college will be based in nottingham. otherwise if you go to a local college they try to get you into an apprenticeship, but the money wont be as good even though you get to work on other models and makes of cars

alrite mate i got my apprenticehip with Renault, finish in july. I got my through emtec but got offered a few interviews with other dealers cause i typed it in on google n there was a test then people rang me
