omg the clock

so im been sitting in my combo at nite with the car off and i wonder what the time is so i turn on the head lights to see the time, its 19:44
this is the method ive used for nearly 2 whole years now. anyway the other day my mate shows me ALLYou have to doo is press the button on the side of the clock and the clock illuminates WOW!!!!!! this car is way ahead of its time and thatsz why i like it soo much

boath the clock will stay lit for about ten sceonds you can also just see the time un illuminated ive also noticed

Which book you on about as i never had a hand book! :lol:

Got the Haynes one and the Haynes performance book tho! :D

just the owners log book. tells you what all the switches do i have a combo so there is a few blank spots where switches go

if u hold both buttons down whilst driving it displays your speed in kph
Thats not a dent.... its an aerodynamic mod :P

Keep both buttons pressed in then it will display your current speed in kph. Don't have to be driving to do this tho more to the point of it.

Also to add onto another post above that the MFD is always on it's just the backlights that go out when the ignition is off/lights off.

let down it only says a single speed i gess the speed you do just before it tells you
and then somthing else comes up is this the screen for the error trsting with the paper clip?

there is a mod somwhere you can wire in to the MFD so it can show the speed all the time as well as other things like oil temp and RPM, saw it in a mag once, however hant seen nething since :(

i think the other stuff that comes on is just technical data regarding the mfd or somthing else vauxhall will use not sure
id say ask vauxhall but they probably wont say, trade secret

my ibiza has a simmlar fuction press 2 buttons on the climate control gives u a secret menu, altho no one knows what all the values mean, i have asked seat and they wont tell me.
