Where to find Chassis number?

Hi, new to forums.

I need to find the chassis number on this corsa B.

Is it part of the VIN ? if not where is it to be found, need to find out if the recall for the 1999-2000 cars if mine is affected and also whether its been done.

Chassis number and vin numbers are different. If i remember correctly vin number is only an 11 digit code where the chassis is a 16 digit code. Im not entirely sure where to find the chassis number on a corsa though.

VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). I think all this tells you is where the Vehicle was Manufactured. Check your log book for the chassis number.

aint it undernearth ur tax disc on the wind screen???? or i got the wrong number lol. they another code under the plastic drivers side door trim, looks like a little bit of plastic that pops off.

yeah that code on be barcode bit on the left of the dash by the window is menna be the chassis number. is also menna be on one of the code plate things under the bonnet at the front of the car. might need a wipe so u can read it though as tends to get dirty quite easy.

imagine that u would need to enquire through vauxhall or by checking on car service history that u possess. or just check ur chassis number against the range of chassis numbers that were affected.

you can enquire though vauxhall with your reg number, is the easiest way

isnt it under that little plastic flap on the doorsill?
cnt remeber if its on the passenger or driver side (or both)
but thers a little plastic flap in the trim im sure its under there stamped in to the framework

yea, under the plastic by the drivers sill, it is stamped into the floor.
