Irmscher Front Spoiler/Apron - cost me £25 + P&P - Vauxhall have these listed on their Accessories Website for over £220! :shock: :lol:

You can always tell a 'quality' part like this from the rest, its such a decent fit it holds itself on!

Just need colour coding, or painting Orange... :lol:

Lowered the Bucket Seats today - haven't been happy with the Cobra Adaptor Brackets since i got them - they lifted the seats too much.
Without welding, the only way i could lower them was to drill the mounting holes higher up the bracket - so i managed to lower the seats by around 10-13mm - nothing massive, but noticable when sat in them
It has made me realise that i need to consider getting another pair of Subframes and welding some brackets onto them to put the seats as low as possible without bolting them to the floor...

Drivers seat tilted back to modify forwardmost brackets;

Image

Slightly blurred (Auto Focus Fail...) But the rearmost drivers bracket modified - i had to shorten the lugs too to allow the OE hieght adjustment to clear the lowered brackets

Image

Passenger side - due to no Height Adjustment, these were easier, as they only needed the new holes drilling, and not any shortening of the lugs - you can also see the difference in height of the original holes and my new ones (the one thats bolted in already)

Image

A little extra clearance!

Also managed to get the Irmscher Apron rubbed down, but haven't managed to get it painted as my normal spraying area (GFs Stables) are full of Horses, and she won't let me spray whilst they are in - it needs hanging up to allow me to spray all over, otherwise i could do it in the runway area of the Stables as air flows through there easily enough that it won't make the Ponies get high...

Image

Unlikely to get the Apron on by next weekend now. :(

Gave the car its Pre-Combe going over today - got it looking all nice, treated the plastics etc - also, because I really need to decide whether or not I like it (and it was taking up a bit of space in the spare room...) I got the Irmscher Apron primed with White Primer - then chucked it on the car - not perfect I know, but enough for me to see what i think of it over the next few days.

More pics tomorrow hopefully, after Castle Combe (no track sessions this time though :()
