oil filter

anyone the best place to get a cheap oil filter from? getting some oil for less than a tenner from wilkinsons which is a bargain really lol,just need a cheap oil filter asap..so if anyone has a spare one they could sell to me id be grateful.

lol...u can pick up standard oil filters for like £7-£8 from most auto spares shops! or ebay for a £5. i got one from a shop round the corner from me i nva been in before for £8. i go in there for most stuff now as it so close

iv seen em on ebay for like £3 posted but cant b assed wiv the hassle of trying to pay with bank card..coz means i have to go into town to put money in my bank.

i just ordered a propa vauxhall one for just under a fiver off ebay lol.

nice. it betta to get the propa ones cos the cheaper ones have a crappy valve on em and tend to drain due to lack of pressure when the car not running.

yeh.im getting some oil sat..can get 5l for less than a tenner in wilkinsons lol..no point buyin castrol etc for a car like ours coz does exactly same job..it still has to be up to the propa standards so mite as well save my self £15.

lol...i just used GM semi-synth grade oil for £20 5ltr

:lol: hate too shock you all but guess who makes the genuine vauxhall filters certainly not vauxhall but a specialist filter manufacturer like cooper or baldwin etc etc then rebadged?painted with nice vauxhall logo :shock:

yea...and? it aint gonna be crap stuff. Shell makes the oil, and coopers supply all the filtration stuff. Bosch do the electronics and ignition, and FAI do all the bolts.

p.s. i get GM oil filters for about £1.20 each! :) i got 20 litres of GM 10w/40 and 7 filters for £45 :D

i cant really complain at £14 for 5l and a filter..i know u should change the oil every 3000miles but i doubt i will lol

lol... now i know how to i am for sure! the old sludgy black oil that come out was slowin down the car and makin it judder when pulling away! now it super smooth drive again lol
