i used to help get it set up for the different rallys as he lived down the road to me..and had a workshop next to his house 
then on the actual rallys i would be responsible for a corner of the car..so when it came in for service i would have to jack my corner up onto the specially made axle stands..wheel off and quick nut n bolt check..and bend back anything that wernt straight lol..also i had to clean the number plates,windows,main sponsor decals and race numbers.
was great fun...spent many hours sat in the cold eating microwavable meals out the back of the service truck lol.
hes a great driver..evo in his old evo 6 he used to beat all the new world rally spec cars.just was fearless and hardly touched the brakes.
all the rallying was part time-like evenings and weekends..so during the weekdays i worked for him in his garage and he also owns a tree surgery company that i usd to work for
and he enters comps all over the country from wales,all over dorset,scotland etc
