goldie'new suspension

Post by gonzo94 »

me and my son in law started up-grading my front suspension today ready to take my new engine that i am re-building.
this is the items going on over this weekend
spax non adjustable spx-n2093 struts
black diamond disc 236mm KBD 004
============ pads KBD 004
powerflex bushes
anti roll bar PFF80-205
tie bar PFF80-203
wishbone inner PFF80-201
======= mounting PFF80-204
new ball joints
new front bearings
new cv gaiters
new front bearings
this should hopefully tighten up the front end and stop the wandering that i have been getting on country roads.
will be taking pics of the work being done.
engine re-build will be logged at a later date,if anyone wants to add on anything else i should be doing please feel free to comment. :thumbs: :thumbs:

suspension now all done on front end,what a difference,drove it back from the garage along some nice winding country lanes,no more wander,just feels so positive now,ended up replacing the front springs as the old ones were looking a bit tired so aired on the side of caution,brakes now stop on a penny,just got rear end suspension to do.might lower it 40mm.will post pics as soon as i work out HOW!!! :thumbs: :thumbs:
